About Us

Wright Elementary School is named after Faye R. Wright. Ms. Wright was the second woman member of the Salem School Board. She served as a Board Member from 1932 until her death in 1954. The Salem School Board named a new school in her honor. Faye Wright School was completed in 1963. 

Wright Elementary School is located in South Salem and has an enrollment of 450+ in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. 

The staff at Wright is dedicated to improving student performance in all areas. In recent years, staff has participated in a variety of trainings and inservices designed to improve student learning and general school climate.
